Terms of Use
These terms describe the basic conditions for using ELSEFOUND quests, FOUND records, Archives, and related features.
1. Nature of the service
ELSEFOUND lets users choose small real-world actions and self-confirm completion as a FOUND record.
Quests are not medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice.
2. User choice and responsibility
Participation in a quest is optional. You should consider your own circumstances, safety, applicable law, and surroundings before performing or declining a quest.
You may not use the service unlawfully or in a way that violates another person's rights, safety, or privacy.
3. Records and visibility
FOUND records and optional text or photos may be visible to other people according to the visibility setting you choose.
The service may restrict or remove public content when reasonably necessary for safety, legal compliance, abuse prevention, or service operation.
4. Archive and authentication
A Guest Archive may depend on device and session state. A Guest Archive that has not been preserved with an external authentication method may not be recoverable after app deletion, browser-data deletion, or legitimate session expiry.
You are responsible for maintaining reasonable control of your authentication methods and device access.
5. Changes and availability
ELSEFOUND may change features, quests, data presentation, and operational methods. The service can be temporarily unavailable because of network failures or maintenance.
Reliability improvements will be made without intentionally weakening record integrity or privacy protections.
6. Account deletion and record preservation
You can start Archive/account deletion from app Settings. Deletion removes callsigns, user-authored one-line text, photos, external links, authentication links, sessions, and other account-linked information.
FOUND numbers, ordinals, and Certificates remain anonymously preserved to maintain permanent numbering, record integrity, and non-reuse.

Applicable mandatory consumer and privacy laws in your place of residence continue to apply. To the extent permitted by law, the service is operated with the laws of the Republic of Korea as its governing baseline.
